This policy explains what personal data azvai.com collects, why, who receives it and what rights you have. It is written to be short and specific to how this site actually works.
Who is responsible for your data
Azvai is the trading name of Borja Blanco Méndez, an independent consultant based in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. He is the controller of the personal data collected through this website.

What we collect and why
- Contact form. When you write to us, we receive your name, email address, subject and message. We use them to reply and, if we end up working together, to manage that relationship.
- Spam protection. The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to check that a person is filling it in. Google receives technical data such as your IP address and browser details for this check.
- Site analytics. Google Analytics measures how the site is used, such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser. We use it to understand which content is useful, never to identify you.
- AI chatbot demo. On the page that hosts our chatbot demo, the questions you type are sent to an AI service provider to generate an answer. Please do not enter personal or confidential information in the chatbot.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising or build profiles about you.
Legal basis
- Replying to your message, and any steps you ask for before a contract, rely on your request and on our legitimate interest in answering it.
- Analytics cookies rely on your consent, which you give or refuse in the cookie banner.
- Spam protection relies on our legitimate interest in keeping the contact form free of abuse.
Who receives your data
We only share your data with the service providers that keep the site running, who process it on our behalf and under contract. These are our web hosting provider, our email delivery service, Google (for Analytics and reCAPTCHA) and the AI service provider behind the chatbot demo. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
Google may process data in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, which provide the safeguards required for these transfers.
How long we keep it
Contact messages and related emails are kept while the conversation or working relationship lasts. If there is no further contact, we delete them after five years at most. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Analytics account, which is 14 months at most.
Cookies
The site uses a small number of cookies. Some are strictly necessary, such as the ones that remember your cookie choice and your language. Google Analytics cookies are only used if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can also block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email borja@azvai.com and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to a data protection authority. In Spain this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos. In the UK it is the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the way we handle data changes. This version is dated 27 September 2026.
